Armands Šķēle (born 1983, September 4 in Riga) is a Latvian professional basketball player for BC Kalev/Cramo.[1] Šķēle's biggest strength is his scoring and playmaking abilities. He is also considered as a solid defender which translates into his steals.

Armands Šķēle was known for his wild lifestyle, including night clubs and gambling problems.
In summer 2010 Šķēle underwent a brain surgery, after he was diagnosed twice with meningitis.
In 2008, with the Barons, he won the EuroCup and the Latvian Basketball League championship.
In January 2011 Šķēle signed a 1+1 year contract with BC Kalev Cramo. He averaged 14,1 points, 2,7 rebounds and 3,1 steals in 2011 KML play-offs. Later he was choosed as the Finals MVP.
He was a member of the Latvian national basketball team, but was banned from the team in 2009, along with four other players, because of bad behavior.
